We spent this morning seeing some of the beautiful churches of Brescia. Firstly, the New Cathedral. I really liked this church as the interior lacks all of the gold & gaudy baroque decor. Next to this is the Old Cathedral, small round Romanesque church. We only were able to have a quick look instead as there was an event on. After this we walked to Saint Maria of Miracles which has the most exquisite Renaissance facade. We also found out from a guy in this church that another nearby church has a Titian painting in it: the Averoldi Polyptch in the church of Santi Nazaro e Celso. It’s a shame that the painting was behind the altar and we could only see it from a distance. We were also directed to the St Francis church, which was our final church visit of the day. We stopped by

Capitolium o Tempio Capitolino, ruins of a Roman temple, and then headed back to where the Baron was parked near the castle.
