And then there was the castle. From the road, I saw an amazing structure atop a lone steep hill with a sheer drop on one side. The castle turned out to be an old Arabic structure surrounded by a town called SalobreƱa. I insisted on a detour – it was just too good to miss! And gods, we’ve seen nothing of the castle (closed for renovation), but the ascent to it was incredible! Or should I say – near impossible. Extremely windy one way streets, barely wider than the car, steep as hell and full of 90 degrees turns of doom. I felt that even if I survived the road, Eva would kill me for all the stress I put her through
