Jemma and Simon at a Mountain in Europe, Spain

Today started with something different – a volcanic park. The volcanos are naturally crazy old, so now it’s really just a piece of very fertile and densely overgrown land with an interesting topography and lots of nature walks. On the way, we popped in to Olot, where they recommended a couple walks to us: Volcanos of Croscat and Santa Margarita. The first has an interestingly exposed side, an the second has a hermitage built in the middle of the caldera. Both great walks!

The joy was somewhat interrupted by work – a number of issues came up and I had to spend half the time on my phone while walking, instead of taking in the views. But hey, can’t complain, being able to actually work like that is great!
