From Girona, we drove back North to Besalú – a beautiful town with a fully preserved Medieval centre and an amazing bridge leading to it. It’s really small, but extremely cute. We strolled about for a couple hours, taking in the views and the atmosphere, and had a quick Sangria at a small square.
